VANCOUVER, January 7, 2009 –The Westin Bayshore Vancouver and Vida Spa have partnered and are set to debut a 5,000 square foot Vida Spa on the lobby level of the 511-room award winning hotel, located on picturesque Coal Harbour, adjacent to renowned Stanley Park. The Vida Spa at The Westin Bayshore will debut in the fall of 2009, in time for the 2010 Winter Games. Having successfully established itself as the pre-eminent luxury spa destination in Vancouver, Whistler, and Seattle, Vida Spa will be an ideal complement to the already outstanding array of guest services featured at the 4 Diamond AAA/CAA hotel. This will mark Vida’s fifth Ayurvedic based Spa in the region.
Vida Spas blend the ancient Indian science of Ayurveda with the best in Western healing philosophies, yielding unique spa experiences that engage the senses while nurturing body and mind.
In addition to offering superior traditional therapies. The Westin Bayshore Spa will have areas designed specifi cally for couples massage, Ayurvedic cleansing and infrared sauna treatments. Vida Spa at The Westin Bayshore will operate seven days a week commencing in the fall 2009.
