Message from the Adoptive Families Association of BC 

The JAZZtini's were flowing, the jazz artists were outstanding, the entertainment stellar, the guests were dancing, and JAZZ in the Park 2008 proved to be the hottest JAZZ fundraising party in town! 

Raising $105,000 in cash  (Fred, we did it!), and over $100,000 donations in kind, how do we begin to thank our community for rallying around adoption and raising much needed funds for families and children in need. Fundraising efforts go towards supporting adoptive families and promoting adoption awareness to the 1,307 foster children waiting for a forever family in BC and the thousands more in orphanages across the world.

We could not do this important work without you, and we thank you so much for believing with us that no child should have to wait for a family nor grow up without one to belong to.

An enormous thanks to our generous sponsors, our philanthropic emcees, our hard working event planning team - The Finer Details Event Planning, event committee, musicians, volunteers, staff, event contributors and guests for making the night a huge success.  I will be in touch soon to thank you all!
